We headed down to the Workshop Coffee's HQ in Bethnal Green, and were greeted by James (CEO) & Richard (CMO) and one of their exceptional Francisco Alvarado filtered coffees.
There's a unique connection between WSC and Grove & Co. A while back Tri, whose day job is a Project Manager, helped Workshop Coffee move into their new home at White Collar Factory in Old Street, London. It just so happened that Richard had a taste for fine clothing, and there a friendship was born.
We wanted to start the Day in The Life series with one thing in mind: to learn more about individuals and companies with a similar ethos to Grove & Co. In short, this means going to long lengths to strive for quality.
After undertaking a discreet Google of Workshop Coffee we quickly understood they follow three main principles: 1. Sourcing; 2. Roasting; and 3. Brewing.
